Forecast

Database Central Europe annually publishes a forecast of labour costs developments in the region as part of the Labour Costs in Central and Eastern Europe report.

The forecast combines the results of real earnings growth with an estimate of potential price convergence.

The latest forecast, as part of the Labour Costs in Central and Eastern Europe edition 2014 report, indicates growth of constant Euro value of earnings and labour costs of up to 15% for countries covered over the period of 5 years. For Croatia, Slovakia and Slovenia earnings and labour costs will actually decline.
